I believe that where you spend your time, and your treasure is where your heart is – that is why I so appreciate each of you being here to serve!
My vision for LCRP in this election cycle is for us to have a clear, positive, nonignorable message which resonates with voters and gets our candidates elected.
It is my prayer that on November 5th it would be said of us by our community that we:
- Are united behind candidates that will provide good governance
- Have informed voters about the pros and cons of issues on the ballot so they can vote wisely
- Care about our community and the people who live here
- Listen well as we talk about principles and solutions in a persuasive and compelling way they can relate to and understand
- Represent different points of view and experiences yet have civil discourse in difficult conversations
- Gave it all for the cause of freedom and liberty which we hold so dear!
To that end, I want to take this opportunity to be clear about what our priorities are in Larimer County to get our conservative candidates elected this year.
- GOTV program led by Dan Betts – We have had 160 people volunteer so far! If you haven't already, please volunteer and encourage others in your sphere of influence to do the same. Reach out to Dan at fortdan@msn.com.
- Volunteer on campaigns and contribute to candidates – There are many ways to help in addition to financial contributions – door knocking, phone banking, postcards, hosting/attending meet and greets, yard signs, sign waving, letters to the editor, messages to your friends and family – ask the candidates, they can tell you what they need! - Make a financial contribution to the Larimer County Republican Party - preferably an ongoing monthly contribution (larimergop.org/donate or an envelope). No contribution is too small. It ALL adds up! Many of you are already giving and we thank you for that. For those of you who are not, please consider a regular financial contribution to demonstrate your commitment to the organization. The Finance Committee is working on expanding our “pie”. We are asking each of you as leaders in this organization to encourage at least three active Republicans to consider a financial contribution over the next week to help us get our message of truth and hope out to our community!
